to appear magically on stage
crinkly faced
eye-brows raised
giant jowls weighing
in @ 2,000 pounds
vocalizing
and knuckle walking
as a silverback
moving to inflatable airbags
eyes glistening
as if moist
with no visible white
around the irises
facial expressions
generated
from joysticks and pedals
amplifying
shifting settings
with video projections
plus voice
modulated electronic
heavy breathing
moaning
crying
sighing
sneezing
grunting
and barking
during ambitious projects
in high profile
being tossed aside
by sparse ticket buyers
subsequently requiring
extreme tweaking
to succeed
as a splendid beast
in the theater
“What were you thinking?!”
while blowing smoke
and flying convincingly
eyelids blinking eerily...
