of silver bells ringing
above slit red kettles
clanging coins
rolled-up bills tucked in
to nostalgic fiction
as raw material
for boggling flow charts
being tied into knots
feeling uneasy and unresolved
due to pressing problems
dissolving into a goner wooly-bear fog ...
