in dribs and drabs
at the drop of a hat
like fiddle faddle
tickling someone’s fancy
as a flash in the pan
while flying off the handle
and forcing someone’s hand
at full blast
all the fun of the fair
lead up the garden path
without a ghost of a chance
throwing good money after bad
what’s sauce for the goose
is sauce for the gander —
