The widening boundry
between the known
and the little known
engaging in tunneling
and excavating prancing
barefoot on the stage
showing some leg
exclaiming, “ Don’t
let them tame me! “
as simultaneously
as shame and sensation
in the drawing rooms of Back Bay
being smeared in the newspapers
yet still preaching peace and normalcy
according to each-and-every creed
emitting auras of healing mediums
prescribed like botanical elixirs
deemed invisible balms for the sick
spirits emerging from the mist
feeling both excited and uneasy
like a fine tickling at the finger tips
filters switched on seen swimming briskly
yet being feed sparingly
triggerfish angelfish parrotfish
red wigglers in the top few inches
laying cocoons quickly
the sunnier the position
the stronger the coloring
each inflorescence
lasting for weeks
leathery arrowheaded leaves
white salmon pink
offcentered puckering
shimmering emerald green ...
